Participant Feed

Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation
List some of the places you frequent often (work, grocery store, natural areas). Could you choose one or two days a week to schedule driving with a friend, neighbor or co-worker to these places?

I chose to carpool with my brother for two days by coordinating our in-office days.

My husband & I both work for Comerica (and even work on the same floor!). We have carpooled for years. Neither of us have to go in to the office every day anymore so less emissions and as an added bonus, we have saved a ton on mileage.

It's difficult to car pool with people on different schedules and having activities after work. I am not a big driver like a lot of people. I drive to get to and from somewhere and try to make sure I have ample places to stop before driving outside of work. My car is 3 years old and I only have a little over 15,000 miles on it. I'm sure I help the planet with this.
