Which businesses that you researched are you excited to support? Are you already supporting businesses that you didn't know were owned by women, people of color, or immigrants?

I am super excited to support "The Naked Lemon" which is a bakery owned by Alessha Serrita Nedd. I already support and love "Fat Cupcake" which is a black-owned local business in Oregon. I love supporting businesses owned by women, people of color, and immigrants. It's important to support the community and empower local businesses and women.

What are the most pressing issues for women, girls, and trans/nonbinary people in your community?

The most pressing issues I found for women, girls, and trans/nonbinary people in my community is finding a sense of community and belonging especially when it comes to school campuses. There is so much transphobic and homophobic harm experienced by LGBTQ2SIA+ youth in the United States.

I made a Tuna Poke bowl with dried seaweed, avocado, crab salad, rice, and ahi tuna! It was delicious and I will definitely be making it again.

Many states and countries have advisories on eating fish. Find out what is advised for your region. Do you think your diet choices fall within these guidelines? What steps do you need to take to make sure that they do?

In the Columbia, it is advised to not eat any sturgeon or any resident fish. I only consume salmon which does not fall on this lost, therefore, my diet choice falls within these guidelines. Checking Oregon.Gov regularly for advisories is key when it comes to finding out which fish can be eaten versus what we should stay away from.
