REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land UseMindful eating is healthier for us than eating with distractions. How does your eating experience differ when practicing mindfulness?
sylvia chung 10/19/2023 11:43 PMit's halloween month which also means harry potter marathons every weekend. this makes it so difficult to not eat whilst watching because the food on screen looks so good.. but i've noticed that i have a lot less sugar crashes and feeling less groggy as each day goes by because i'm binging less and not mindlessly snacking anymore. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustryWhat are some more "Rs" you could add to your daily practice to reduce your waste?
sylvia chung 10/06/2023 2:04 AMi could probably cut back on alcohol wet wipes and replace with spray/micro fibre cloth.
i could repurpose jars (spag bol sauce jars, jam jars etc) into containers for sweets, chia seeds, nuts, etc)
reduce single use plastics eg by not buying multipacks, not buying fruit/veg wrapped in plastic.
reduce cotton pad usage and replace with a reusable version -
sylvia chung 10/06/2023 12:53 AMrecently there's been a trend on tiktok where people are making hwachae (korean fruit salad with strawberry, banana milk). this is so delicious and i ended up eating a few portions. a good way to get your 5 a day in (fruit part). -
sylvia chung 10/06/2023 12:48 AMit's pumpkin spiced latte season but no starbucks for me, all made using ingredients i have at home (soy milk, nutmeg, clove, pumpkin chunk, coffee)
