Ryan Cunningham 10/25/2023 2:47 PMMy recycling has gotten so much better. I have put another bag in all of the bathrooms and bedrooms in my house. I told my family that one is for recycling and the other is for garbage. We have been able to separate out everything much better than what we were doing before. -
Ryan Cunningham 10/20/2023 12:17 PMIt's hard to find buildings to post around my area. So, I'm going to start looking at other buildings around the world. -
Ryan Cunningham 10/19/2023 6:27 PMIs there a better way we can encourage recycling in our communities? Or maybe even downtown where homeless people litter all day every day?-
Liz Zavodsky (Ecochallenge Staff) 10/20/2023 12:13 PMThat's a great question and I encourage you to check with your local city / town to see what resources and efforts are out there for making is more accessible.

Ryan Cunningham 10/14/2023 3:13 PMI found this building called Carbon12 that is in Portland. It is one of the most eco-friendly buildings I have researched so far. I shared it today on my story.-
Liz Zavodsky (Ecochallenge Staff) 10/16/2023 11:22 AMThat's awesome. Have you seen this one? https://www.pae-engineers.com/about/pae-living-building

Ryan Cunningham 10/12/2023 11:42 AMSo far so good this morning. Decided to change it up and I posted on my Facebook story about climate change. I wanted to spread my audience by changing social media platforms.-
Mary Hanks 10/28/2023 1:01 PMI hope you get a lot of positive response to your Facebook posts about climate change. I know far too many people who keep denying the seriousness of the situation. I believe that the more people post the truth, like you're doing, the greater the chance that people who are undecided might start trying to live more sustainably. Thank you for being an agent for the change we need.

Ryan Cunningham 10/11/2023 2:04 PMToday was super fun. I took this old fleece vest of my dad's that he was going to throw away and I stitched on this old crewneck that doesn't fit me anymore. I made the vest a bit bigger and put the design that was on the crewneck onto the back of the vest. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustryWhat are some more "Rs" you could add to your daily practice to reduce your waste?
Ryan Cunningham 10/11/2023 2:02 PMAnother R that I have been doing especially with clothing and wood is "Rescue". Where I save the items and reuse them before discarding them. So, with clothes that don't fit me anymore, I use them and stitch together a new item. -
Ryan Cunningham 10/10/2023 12:59 PMI was able to find some really fun post about climate change today that I shared on my Instagram story. I do feel that I am being a bit repetitive with the post but it's okay.-

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth and EducationHave you been sharing what you learned throughout Drawdown Ecochallenge? How have people responded?
Ryan Cunningham 10/09/2023 4:07 PMI have been. Finding some Instagram's that are also helping out and trying to get the word out about climate change. I only get a few people that like my story -
Ryan Cunningham 10/09/2023 1:39 PMToday is getting a bit harder with social media post. I don't want to just keep posting the same one or making it sound repetitive. Just trying to keep fun with the post is the hardest part. But so far so good.
