My roommate and I could start taking the bus together to school. That would drastically reduce our fuel use every week. I used to live in Palm Springs. That city could highly benefit from a rail system that is solar run. Its one of the sunniest cities in the United States and there is massive commuting from one side of the valley to the other. Most people live on one side then commute to work in the hotels in Palm Springs. People in that town should reach out to local officials and push for a solar run public transportation system.
