Transportation

Sustain a bike repair club at my local middle school and refurbish and giveaway donated bikes

10 middle schoolers each year learn how to repair and maintain bikes. We hold roughly 6 public bike repair/bike and helmet giveaway/learn to ride events each year in our community and have given away over 560 bikes (from donated bikes that we refurbished) over the last 7 years to people that need bikes. At club meetings we discuss critical thinking skills and social justice issues in addition to the details of bike repair.
