Gary Holmes 10/31/2023 9:45 PMRefrigeration equipment consumes electricity, produced in general by burning fossil fuel that emits CO2 (carbon dioxide) into the atmosphere. A typical supermarket consumes 4,000 pounds of refrigerants each year with a quarter leaking out due to faulty systems. -
