REFLECTION QUESTIONLand SinksDo you have any personal connections to a farm or farmland? If so, what are they? What feelings are evoked for you when thinking about declining farmland?
Gabryella Pulsinelli 10/25/2023 6:42 AMI personal don't, but it is a important issue that requires attention. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth and EducationWhich businesses that you researched are you excited to support? Are you already supporting businesses that you didn't know were owned by women, people of color, or immigrants?
Gabryella Pulsinelli 10/25/2023 6:30 AMI didn't know some of the clothing companies I like are owned by black women. I recently at a street fair purchased goods from a couple of local women-owned businesses. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth and EducationWhat was an inspiring thing you learned in Drawdown's Climate Solutions 101 Series?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportationHow do your transportation choices affect your engagement in your community? Does your experience or enjoyment differ while walking, riding transit, biking or driving?
Gabryella Pulsinelli 10/25/2023 5:36 AMI love riding my bike I truly do, but it is not safe sometimes to bike to my grocery store and there is not secure place to leave it when I go in. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustryWhat do you want to prioritize over material 'stuff' in your own life?
Gabryella Pulsinelli 10/21/2023 9:20 AMI wan to prioritize making memories and traveling over “stuff”. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricityChanging lightbulbs is an excellent first step toward energy efficiency! What's next for you?
Gabryella Pulsinelli 10/21/2023 9:20 AMWhen my washer and dryer dies going to get a more energy efficient ones. Also using natural light when I can to reduce electricity cost as well. -

Gabryella Pulsinelli 10/19/2023 11:10 AMStraws are the downfall for me because I keep forgetting to refuse them at the drive-through. So I just need to say no and just not use them. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBuildingsWhat are your next steps for saving energy?
Gabryella Pulsinelli 10/19/2023 11:08 AMI think my next step is going to be changing the bulbs in my house that are not LED and when I update my washer and dryer to make them energy-certified. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustryWhat was the hardest item to reduce using or cut out that is plastic? Did you find a way to do it?
Gabryella Pulsinelli 10/16/2023 12:44 PMGrocery stores! Having to choose things not covered in plastic and bring my own bags to place the loose veggies in. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportationHalf of all trips made in the US are three miles or less; 72% of them are driven. Private vehicles account for 60% of trips of a mile or less. Do you often drive short distances instead of biking or walking? If so, how might incorporating an electric bike into your lifestyle help you make more climate-friendly choices?
Gabryella Pulsinelli 10/16/2023 12:37 PMI do sometimes drive to the grocery store that's only a mile away, now I have a great bike and a strong biker so I just need to get used to taking my bike instead of driving my car. Granted I have an electric car so it is a little less polluting. It would be nice to bike to work but the infrastructure makes it to difficult and is to dangerous for me to bike to work because of the city I would have to bike through.
