REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land UseAn average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?
Dakotah Ross 10/22/2023 11:18 AMI would use it to purchase a new lens(es) for my camera to improve my business -
REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustryWhat was the hardest item to reduce using or cut out that is plastic? Did you find a way to do it?
Dakotah Ross 10/12/2023 2:44 PMWater bottles are the hardest to cut out, as no one likes tap water, and getting everyone in the house to use a filtered tap is hard. We will keep working at it though!-
Kim Smith 10/13/2023 8:43 PMThat is so interesting, Dakotah. Do you live in the Portland area? We are known for such clean tap water, with the Bull Run Watershed. Perhaps you live in an area that doesn't have such tasty water. In addition to having refillable water bottles, I wonder if it might help to make some fun infused water, such as putting some lemon or cucumber slices into the water. I look forward to learning what you achieve.
