November 1 at 12:58 PMI had never heard of silvopasture before, but I think it is a good idea; By incorporating more foliage and trees on pastures, it helps to offset carbon levels in the atmosphere, as well as provide shade and extra moisture on the land. An arid pasture can lead to brush fires, and by planting more trees it can lower temperatures and reduce risks...

October 31 at 1:40 PMAs I learn more about climate change, it can be very easy to become overwhelmed and spiral into a dark hole, but its important to shift your thoughts and perspective to use your passion and drive to make a change; It's important to remind yourself that you are only one person, and you can't make change to reduce temperatures, but you can...

October 30 at 9:44 PMBy creating 'green cities' not only makes a community more desirable, but it also contributes to combatting the emissions of greenhouse gases through planting trees and other foliage; This will contribute to more shade and a reduced surface temperature.

October 30 at 5:06 PMMicro wind turbines are commonly used to pump water, charge batteries, and provide electrification in rural locations. Urban areas use micro wind turbines to rely less on the electric grid. Although more expensive, they can be integrated into urban infrastructure, such as building-mounted micro turbines.

October 26 at 11:28 AMI noticed that on the days that I went on a daily walk, it felt like I had more energy; It also is helpful to wake oneself up when its one of the first things you do in the morning; The only infrastructure flaw that stands out to me would be the crosswalks on Harrison and Van Buren, the busy, one-way streets; The crosswalks I think could...

October 25 at 10:30 AMI went to a food market and bought fresh fish. It was delicious, I made a lemon salmon with rice. salmon with pepper salt lemon garlic, on a pan and put in the oven at 350 for 15ish minutes or until the oils start to pool out.

October 23 at 9:42 PMThe Willamette Valley region is advised to eat a maximum of four meals of fish per week, all resident fish. Seeing as how I eat fish a couple times a month, I fall within these guidelines.

October 23 at 7:22 PMI tried to make a poke bowl with wakame. The assembly process was very long and slimy. It was moderately hard to make and wasn't very well made by me. I wouldn't cook seaweed again but I would eat it again.

October 21 at 5:38 PMFamily planning is an important civil rights consideration because it allows individuals, couples, and families to make informed decisions about their reproductive lives. Family planning is also an important civil rights consideration because it educates individuals on important topics such as autonomy, economic stability, equity, gender...
