Are bamboo alternatives readily available in your community? If not, what are other sustainable alternatives?

Bamboo is available in some quantities in my community. You have to watch for it and sometimes be ready to spend a little more. Other sustainable alternatives would be metal, like metal straws. Even plastic can be more sustainable if it isn't single-use and can be recycled.

the hardest item to reduce plastic is water bottles. I did this by just going to refill my water bottle at the water fountain to save plastic waste.

There are minimal changes that I can make in order to significantly impact my carbon footprint. Some changes I could work on would be the amount I travel and switching to being vegan. I could also work toward switching to more sustainable options for electricity consumption and lessening my chance of over consumption.

    Transportation
Reducing (or eliminating) exhaust emissions and improving public health are two benefits of green vehicles. What other motivators inspire you to consider switching to a more fuel-efficient vehicle?

Other than the two reasons listed above most of the motivators for me to switch to an electric vehicle. Truthfully these are large factors but on top of this electric vehicles are more efficient both energy-wise and fuel-wise. So once my car is on its way out I am hoping to have enough saved up to make the switch.

    Food, Agriculture, and Land Use
While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come from eating/serving smaller portions?

Another benefit is the health benefits. By reducing the amount you eat you are consuming fewer calories which can cause weight loss which may be beneficial to someone.

Changing the clothes that you currently have like cutting them, adding on new features with scrap fabrics, etc. You can also mix and match different aesthetics to make a new look as well as thrifting clothes or wearing hand-me-downs.
